one week to go.....

in a week, ill be headed to greece with my sister, then to rome for the semester. this blog is the digital diary of my fantastic roman adventure.



i spent the past couple days in the poconos with my mom. it was pretty awesome. we went to the pool, then the lake and enjoyed the scenery. the poconos house is one of my favorite places to be, so it was really nice to go before leaving. but definitely one of the best things of the vaca was finding a long lost tape of covington cross. covington cross was a tv show from 1992. its about a medieval english family starring ione skye, glenn quinn, and colin firth's little brother. my sister and i loved it and my mom taped all the episodes. however, we recently learned why there were less than twenty episodes. it totally sucks! its the best worst show ever! i really suggest you check it out for some laughs...


so today, i came home from the poconos and went to get my hair relaxed and straightened in preparation for europe. i know that i have really thick hair, but it never ceases to amaze me that the hairdressers marvel at it. every time go at least two stylists pass by like "woah, thats a lot of hair!" even today, my person was a 'master designer' and she was taken aback. i thought "really, lady, you won the golden scissors award. i see it right on your desk. why can't you stop telling my i have a lot of hair?" but, of course, none of that matters now because my curly hair is gone. =)
